Cost of Infomercials?

Gang,

Lets say I have an idea for a weekly show- lets say its a 2 hour show on Saturday mornings...What do you think it would cost on WILK or WARM?

Thanks!

If it's a true informercial, nothing; the station would get a percentage of your take. If you are talking about buying time, that's a different thing.

Not sure I agree.

The station may ask for money in advance (called ernest money) PLUS a percentage of your sales. Call and ask.

It also depends on how bad they want to sell late Saturday morning (in many markets as good or better than weekday am drive).

Many radio stations (including the 4 I owned) required preachers to pay in advance. Even Jimmy Swaggart and other nationals were glad to do that.

>>>Its not a true infomercial...just a radio program...not a political show either.<<<

Just make sure you don't use the word "informercial" when you approach a station. That has a specific meaning.
