Could a televised concert trump Trump's big day?

NBC News posted an article about Ex CIA Brennan "ripping" President Trump, but the fact that the CIA is out there with politics is not the gist of my post. In the middle of the page of that article they also posted a gallery of photographs. Number 8 of 22 explains that Chief Justice John Roberts is arriving with Justice William Rehnquist. Now, while it is real nice that NBC knows how to spell the name of the former Chief Justice of the United States, who has been dead since 2005, Chief Justice Roberts was in fact arriving with Justice Kennedy.

Here is the article by NBCs own Andrea Mitchell and Ken Dilanian showcasing their journalistic prowess: https://www.aol.com/article/news/20...ip-trump-speech-in-front-of-memoria/21660125/

Great pics.

and this has happen in San Angelo

A local radio station, 100.5 FM (KCGF-LP), looped an uncensored rap song entitled “FDT (F**k Donald Trump)” by YG and Nipsey Hussle, shortly after Trump was inaugurated as the nation’s 45th President, for approximately one hour.

A Federal Communications Commission query shows the radio signal is owned by Sunday Morning Glory Radio Inc.

Song lyrics include the words: “I like white folks, but I don’t like you
All the n****s in the hood wanna fight you
Surprised the Nation of Islam ain’t tried to find you
Have a rally out in L.A., you know what’s up
Home of the Rodney King riot, we don’t give a f**k
Black students”

The song stopped looping shortly after 1:30 p.m. Friday. No one answered a call to station owners Sunday Morning Glory Radio Inc. Friday. A message was left on the contact number.

Here is a video of what was playing on the air Friday (WARNING:GRAPHIC LANGUAGE)

Here are the ratings from January 20th

Interesting the huge disparity between P2+ numbers and A25-54, indicating that a large percentage of the cable and broadcast audience was older than 54 years of age. Perhaps a sign that perhaps younger viewers were using other media devices to watch.

Also the fact that NBC network was #1 for broadcast coverage, yet #3 for cable coverage.

How long until Rt/Russia/Putin/Snowden/et al are blamed for this?

Apparently you can copy and paste allegations and watch how many political pundits go insane. Apparently you can copy and paste the Putin allegations by using the names of presidents of different countries.

In this article you even have news outlets in the Philippines try to tie their president to Putin too for the same reasons as we see with President Trump and Putin.

George Will to leave Fox News

As Donald Trump takes office as the President of the United States, he has many cheerleaders at Fox News to help carry his water.

Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, Steve Doocey and that guy that sits across from Steve Doocey all are Trump's puppets to help out when needed.

But, Fox News did have George Will as a contributor to help balance the pro-Trump message, even if just a little bit.

We say "did" because Fox News parted ways with one of the few Conservative Trump opponents on the network.

George Will, a consistent voice of American conservatism for the past 30 years, will no longer appear on the network as a paid contributor.

After Trump's speech Will wrote, “This is not the adjective that came to mind as he described ‘American carnage.’ That was a phrase the likes of which has never hitherto been spoken at an inauguration.”

Will came to Fox News in 2013 after serving as an analyst on ABC News for 30 years, from 1981 to 2011.

Fox News has not immediately responded to a request for comment.

Wow here are the changes at Fox News

As it pivots to cover the presidency of Donald Trump, Fox News has declined to renew the contracts of several on-air contributors, including one of Trump’s fiercest conservative critics.

A source confirms that Pulitzer Prize-winning Washington Post columnist George Will, a consistent voice of American conservatism for the past 30 years, will no longer appear on the network. The news was first reported by The Hill.

Fox News has not immediately responded to a request for comment.

Will, a life-long Republican whose syndicated columns regularly appear in the Philadelphia Inquirer, announced back in June he was leaving the party over its nomination of Donald Trump, who blasted the columnist for his decision on Twitter:

Most recently, Will wrote in the Washington Post that on Friday, Trump delivered “the most dreadful inaugural address in history.”

“Kellyanne Conway, Trump’s White House counselor, had promised that the speech would be ‘elegant,’” Will wrote following Trump’s inaugural address. “This is not the adjective that came to mind as he described ‘American carnage.’ That was a phrase the likes of which has never hitherto been spoken at an inauguration.”

Will came to Fox News in 2013 after serving as an analyst on ABC News for 30 years, from 1981 to 2011. During that time, he has feuded often with the network’s most popular host, Bill O’Reilly.

In 2015, Will was involved in a heated on-air discussion with The O’Reilly Factor host, who exploded and called the Pulitzer Prize-winner a “hack” and a liar over criticism’s of O’Reilly’s book, "Killing Reagan." Also out at Fox News is actress Stacey Dash, who is probably best remembered for her role in the 1995 film “Clueless,” and Republican political strategist Ed Rollins, who was best known as a political analyst for CNN before moving to Fox in 2011. Veteran broadcaster Marvin Kalb and syndicated columnist Cal Thomas are also out.

Fox News did announce the addition of one new contributor - Nigel Farage, the former U.K. Independence Party leader who was the most public backer of England’s move to exit the European Union. He’s also a vocal supporter of President Trump, and will reportedly be a “close but unofficial adviser” to the new president, according to Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant.

While attacking other media outlets, President Trump has praised Fox News, most recently telling a crowd at a donor’s dinner the day before the inauguration, “Fox has treated us very well, very well.”

If there was, it didn't disrupt anything. Even the protests in DC that day were kept away from actual inauguration events.

Not entirely kept away, as many elderly, veterans and children were blocked at entrances to the venue by protestors.

Which venue? The Capitol? Not true. The main protests were blocks away. Some held signs along the parade route, but they didn't block anything.
