Could Clear Channel revive the gospel format again?

I think Praise would do well if they established a really good iPhone app, an app for the other smart phones.

IIRC they have apps for iPhone, Android, & Blackberry, but the Radio One apps aren't that good in my experience - when you try to minimize the app to check e-mail the music stops.

However, if you listen to them on Tune In on any smartphone platform (where they are listed as Praise 102.1) you can stream them all day and still use other apps. That covers all the bases.

Giving them HD radios for cars assumes the car was made more than five years ago, before those touch screen all in one radio / GPS / backup camera / satellite / iPod dock / climate control systems became standard.

Then you plug your iPhone into the iPod dock that came with the touch screen all in one radio/GPS/backup camera units that's built into the car. Then you launch TuneIn or whatever app you want and listen to what you want to.
