Could FOX purchase some MyNetworkTV affiliates?

CW is already CONFIRMED to be going on WTTV-4/WTTK-29, owned by Tribune. I somehow doubt My would want to be a secondary affiliate in a market the size of Indianapolis (#25).

No, CW is already CONFIRMED to be going on WTXX-20, owned by Tribune.

No, CW is already CONFIRMED to be going on KSTW-11, owned by CBS.

I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but have you even read the initial press release?

I guess it's possible it could go somewhere else - but I'm not aware of LIN having anything against FOX, or vice versa. LIN owns 4 FOX affils and LMAs one other. The only other option I could think of would be NewsChannel64 (digital subchannel of RTV6 ABC) or SkyTrak Weather Network (WALV-CA // dig. sub. of WTHR NBC) but I doubt either of them would want to give up their current formats.

Of course, I think the most interesting move for LIN would be to put their Univision affiliate on full power WNDY-TV and stick MNTV (if they get it) on WIIH-LP. But I'm not sure there is quite enough of a Hispanic audience. The question is: Would Univision draw better ratings with Spanish-language telenovelas than My would draw with English-language telenovelas? Univision is a proven, solid network with a track record.

But since the first-runs are on KING TV, and the second-runs are on co-owned KONG-TV, isn't KING really paying the big money for these shows?
