Could it be?

I am listening to 101.1 WYDE. It is 10:22 PM Sunday evening July 17, and all that is on is a sound like a clock ticking. Could Crawford have finally broken down and put the talk format to bed, or are they just having problems? I hope that when I wake up in the morning Oldies is back at 101 where it belongs! Maybe even Southern Gospel. I'd have to be high or drunk to listen to talk radio, it is boring!

Probably a return to "Fun"..er..."Star"...er...the "New 101". Maybe all three, like last time...? :D

sounds like some kind of electronics problem to me....

they're all hyped up over some new dr. ginas show that has been on a month or so ; seriously doubt they'd drop the whole format this early in that experiment....

Well, just checked the Source and they're back to talk. I was looking forward to the next "project" Crawford was going to install on 101.1. Given how they recycle formats, it really would be no surprise to see "Fun/Star/the New 101.1" return to the air. If I were Crawford, I'd just save time and use all three names at once...Crawford could call the station the "New FunStar 101.1". :) Yeah...I like it. What do y'all think? :D

I wonder if Crawford will ever come to their senses and bury that talk format...it should have never been resurrected after the music format...many of their listeners had already moved on to WAPI or WERC. Do we really need three talk outlets in Bham??
