Could it happen in Atlanta?

I doubt it would air on the Fish here, I am confident that Salem will keep a local live evening show here in Atlanta and Dallas but it could pop up on other Salem music stations.

Could "IT" happen in Atlanta?

Well... depends on what 'IT' is and how wild of an idea it is.

If you're talking about the possibility of an electro dance exclusive mix show on a rhythmic top 40 station, then I say YES.

I know I've suggested it for quite a long time now - an afterhours late night weekend dance mix show on a local ATL station, but.... I'm done suggesting it for now. I wont speak about it anymore. I'll just shut up and let everyone see (or hear) for themselves what happens on February 4th.

I would say more, but I'd rather let you guys "investigate" and see if you can figure out what exactly I'm talking about before it happens, and guess which station it will be happening on. I think I dropped more than enough hints. ;)

In your opinion, yes. But the reality is that the subject header is open to pretty much anything Atlanta related (in regard to radio).

Don't be too confident of that. I've had a post or two of mine blocked and had my knuckles rapped by the moderator for what was term "irrelevant" and "dead ending comments."

Hmmm...you might actually want to read the initial post ;)

But the thread was dying. Someone had to save it, and I figured that if I was going to be kind enough to deliver the lifeline, then I should have the freedom to present my own version of the subject. Why give birth to a whole new topic when I could just save another one with an already appropriate subject line from dying?

Could IT happen in Atlanta? That's the question.

Well, keep in mind that V103 did IT. Now WWVA seems as if they are about to take it to another level by doing an entire show dedicated strictly to IT. Q100 was actually the first to do and perfect this type of show back when they were still new to the ATL scene, and what show I'm I talking about? IT is a weekend electronic dance music mix show - dedicated strictly to the electronic scene and sound.

"Could it happen in Atlanta?" That was the question I presented here long ago. Now it's about to be answered (once again) with a live demonstration.

This thread was dead... now dead-er.
