Could Martinsville-BLOOMINGTON Support another CHR,,,If marketed Right

I think the only hope we have for getting another Mainstream CHR here, (IF 97.7 doesnt Flip, is if the owner of 102.3 WCBK either grows some Ballz, or sells this station, since no one outside of martinsville listens to it anyway, Which is such a waste, considering they have almost City Grade signal in Bloomington, and most of Indianapolis. Im thinking WCBK could do well in 12+ as a CHR. They could market the station to Bloomington and Indianapolis as well as local Bussiness. This station used to be a CHR-Disco station in the late 70s, up until 1982, and that was on a MUCH weaker signal. I definatly think that either WCBK 102.3, or 92.3 WTTS With its very powerful signal, would be the best signals to switch to CHR, they both cover INDY and Bloomington, and they both have O listeners..... IF not CHR,,, than Hot AC perhaps.....(WHAT ARE YOUR GUYS THOUGHTS ON THIS) Martinsville is a Dead Market anyway, So what would they have to lose, if they targeted the Nearby Metros?

WTTS has zero listeners? I find that hard to believe.

And if the attitude in Martinsville is the same as it was in years past, I doubt if their local businesses (including their radio statons) want anything to do with either Bloomington or Indy.

Which market is Martinsville a part of anyway? Are they considered part of Bloomington or Indianapolis as far as radio is concerned?

WTTS is usually in the Indianapolis Arbitron top 10 for the 18 - 34 demo.

My bad, I guess TTS is doing better than it was a few years ago.

Let's flip WIBC to DANCE!!! News-Talk is a dead format....and the demos are growing old. Flip it and take advantage of the $$$ the DANCE format can bring! CHR on AM! It's the latest trend in radio!

Sheesh. Time for a new horse.
