Could Shannon Do Middays on Star 94?

I think Shannon is the bright spot in The Morning Mess. How about this for a lineup?

Mornings - Cindy & Ray
Middays - Shannon
Afternoons - Tripp West

And back to Star's almost-hot AC heritage except maybe for evenings.

Okay, I admit I'm no Neil Millman and probably should keep my day job. Just a thought.

But does anyone think that might work?
 
I do agree that Shannon is the "keeper" among the Mess...she seems like she could stand on her own, no offense to the others. But I'm not sure about the rest of your idea, especially having different music in the evenings than the rest of the day, if I read you right.

But I'll just stick to my own day job, too.
 
The Morning Mess team was probably brought to Atlanta as a collective unit. I doubt they would axe two members of a morning show team and keep one. If one goes, they probably all go.

What's wrong with dayparting music? Nudge's show used to be fantastic at night, and it seemed like he always played stuff that was just a little hotter than the daytime. After 7 PM the daytime audience is in front of the TV watching Nancy Grace anyway.

Sorry, Whit, but I have to disagree. If LF would offer Shannon a solo placement or a group departure, I'm sure she'd take the solo placement over not having a gig right now.

Just a matter of time before they bring in Ryan Seacrest's show... So which jock gets bounced? Move Cindy and Ray to mornings, Seacrest, Tripp? They save money and get a better product.

Dayparting is common practice, to some extent, at nearly all CHR outlets - clearly some (Atlanta's CHRs) more than others. As long Lil Wayne didn't immediately go into power rotation after 7P on Star, there should be no issue with them leaning a bit younger at night.
