Could Sinclair or Tribune be forced to sell in Seattle?

Ah OK. They all closely sound the same to me. So I bet KCPQ would be getting Scott Chapin then once FOX takes over.

I found this about Mr. Chapin. He also does the voiceover for WSVN in Miami (FOX station, but not an O&O):

Scott has been WSVN's voiceover since the Late 80s (save for the two or three years Paul Turner did it). He's been "The Voice of WSVN 7" for the longest of time. The last voiceover who did WSVN 7 was Roger Thompson.

Watched KCPQ Thursday afternoon/evening...the anchors seem somewhat shell-shocked, or perhaps just disinterested. I don't blame them, being up in the air right now. The morning show continues to fire on all cylinders, the bet is there will be few changes there. Don't get me wrong, KCPQ offers a strong product both afternoons and mornings, but it is most certainly disconcerting and uncomfortable when a new owner is coming in.

So where does this leave the earlier agreement for Fox to buy KCPQ? As I posted in the national tv thread, there probably is language written into the agreement that if the Sinclair/Tribune deal fails, the deal in void. I think there are a lot unanswered questions at this point. KCPQ employees are probably scratching their heads.

Tribune could sell it to FOX directly. FOX really wants to own stations in the NFL markets and with "cross flex", where a "normal" CBS game could be moved to FOX (and vise versa) FOX wants to own those stations.
