Could Steve & DC be picked up in California?

Could Steve & DC Morning Show be picked up in California? How would it work out, if a station wanted to air Steve & DC from 5am-10am in california? If they took Steve & DC on live, that would make it 3am pacific time.

No different than Imus in the Morning running in the Pacific time zone. Some run it live at dark-o'clock, and others run it taped delayed during morning drive.

Steve and DC is not offered "live" to the affiliate stations to begin with. They are running on a one-hour delay out of St. Louis, as I understand it. The raw WVRV feed is sent from the Palace at Ballas to their personal studios in the Powerhouse @ Union Station, where a network team cuts all blatantly St. Louis references out of the show and sends it out. So -- as I understand it -- stations that choose to run them from 5a-9a Central Time are actually getting a "Best of" in that first hour and then get the STL 5am hour in their 6am, 6am in 7am, and 7am in 8am.So, to answer the original question, sure... you could run the Teflon Twosome in California. You'd just have the delay, as with the other stations. But, my question is, why is God's name would you WANT to run that show? It's the worst syndicated show out there, IMO. It's poorly organized, sounds too chopped up with their one minute live reads being tacked onto the end of the segments, and is VERY niche focused. It amazes me that they're running the gamut of formats from CHR to Classic Rock to AC/Hot AC to Country. When you're having to hit that many formats, it's going to sound sloppy. There are syndicated options that are a hundred times better than S&DC.

Why would California listeners want to hear those country hoosiers?

Just a slight correction - the WVRV feed is not sent to the Powerhouse (that is all Emmis), it is sent to the Annex (in the Union Station complex, but not in the Powerhouse).
