Been listening to a lot of stuff about the closures of National Parks and monuments....the "How DARE they close OUR parks!", and similar comments.
Lots of on-air types are opening the phone lines with things like, "The (name your favorite) Memorial isn't even an indoor venue. How can they justify closing it?"
So, I'm wondering if we could benefit from some of that, in areas where the local, county or state governments enforce curfews on the area parks, beaches, cemeteries, etc. Why is it a "problem" for me, a DX'er, to sit in a nearby park and listen to the radio after dark?
I know the FCC loves to do their enforcement monitoring from cemeteries, since it's a great place to get away from the noise and interference.
Why don't we ask some serious questions of our local and area governments. too?
