As soon as 10am hit this morning, Lite Rock 105 changed there links to JONES AND HEATHER and personalities to David Jones in the morning.

How fast did they boot him out the door? haha

Actually regardless of the circumstances behind the exit I think he left with respect and a reputation intact that few others can do much more than dream of. As far as the links I don't see anything wrong with changing things now. If they didn't then people would criticize the station for not changing the links. I've caught bits and pieces of Gary's show this week but one thing I missed is whether or not he ever mentioned who his replacement would be but I assume some mention would have been made since this was handled with class from the standpoint of the taste left in listeners' mouths.

If they wouldn't have changed the links you'd probably be accusing them of website incompetence.
 
It was more than mentioned. David Jones was actually an in studio guest on the show one morning when Gary announced that Jones would be taking over the slot. I saw the Video on NBC 10 News.

David Jones was there all week long observing and Gary would often engage in conversation with him often during the morning drive.

Well, I was sad to hear that Gary was leaving, and not knowing the circumstances, all I can say is that he was a nice human being--which is more than what I can say for many other radio personalities I've worked with.

Good luck, Gary. I'm sure you'll be missed.
