At the end of last night's episode of 9-1-1 on FOX Chimney was shot by Maddie's deranged estranged husband. The scenes from upcoming episodes don't seem too promising for Chimney. Many people have taken to 9-1-1's Facebook page to state they will no longer watch the show if Chimney is killed off. - Could this lead to the show being canceled?

all this over 1 character, unless this character is a part of a minority and it LGBT, then the character's death isn't a death that could doom a show.

Good lord, if all the people who vented about some perceived grievance on social media, or discussion boards, actually amounted to a hill of beans, there wouldn’t be a show left on the air.

It’s hot air.

Well the TV show 911 is no longer owned by Fox though its now owned by Disney. At this point Disney can do whatever they want with the show. I don't know about 911 being cancelled but the only time we should be talking about a show being cancelled speculation is if one of the cast members is named in a real scandal.

Or, you know, perhaps, if the ratings stink. Which, thus far, hasn’t been the case.
