They've just made a major purchase in the New York City market, buying WJLP for $62.5 million and WZME for $35 million. Weigel is in a station-buying spree for their Me-TV network. They could do a similar deal with the WBNX owners like they did with the previous owner of KNLC in St. Louis, where they host religious programming on a subchannel. WBNX already has the other Weigel digital networks on that channel, so it could be a matter of time before Me-TV winds up there as well.
