Could WOGL still flip to Jack?

Where I live I can hear both N.Y. and Philly stations. I've noticed that Greater Media's Ben-FM sounds alot diffrent from Jack-Fm in N.Y. It doesn't seem that Ben-Fm has the same attitude and music as Jack in N.Y. Do you think Infinity could put their version of Jack on in Philly and push Ben-fm out?

It is possible. 101.1 Jack FM in New York seems more rock based with the occasionally pop tune thrown into the mix. It all depends on how WOGL is doing in ratings and how much money Infinity is making.

If Infinity is going to make such a move, they'd better be damn certain that GM is gonna fold immediately. Two Variety Hits stations in one market are just going to eat away at one another. (I still don't think Variety Hits has the legs to keep even one outlet going in this market.)

If Infinity puts Jack on 98.1, GM should immediately move their oldies format to 95.7 FM. Simulcast for a while or do whatever but get the Oldies format on the FM station because there's no way Ben's gonna beat Jack.

Just wondering, why are we all assuming Ben would lose and Jack would win?
