Could Xtreme be the next station to flip

With CBS flipping stations in both NYC and LA, could Vegas be next with Xtreme being the choice to flip formats, possibly to Top 40, as they did somewhat in both of the aforementioned markets...

While it wouldn't shock me to see KXTE flip formats sooner or latter, I would say there is a 0% chance they would go Top 40. CBS wouldn't want to compete against themselves. KLUC is a rhythmic leaning Top 40, their music is very similar to the new AMP in LA.

I think is KXTE did flip. I could see either them taking KXNT to FM also or Maybe KYDZ but im thinkin most likely them flipping it to an all HIP HOP station to compete with KVEG since KLUC is starting to actually sound like a CHR station

kcbs 740 AM in SF has supposedly seen good results expanding to a FM simulcast on 106.9 FM

CBS LV flipping X to "all Hip Hop", why? CC tried and bailed, KLUC dabbled, while KVEG debuted to drain Desert Sky Media V108's audience and exploit their poor signal, only to eventually straddle the fence.? Actually V108 was true Hip Hop but flipped to Urban AC before selling. Why not Urban AC? Does anyone here remember the first local KISS (formerly The Edge) ? Personalities Sheldon Vicks, Rufus Harrison etc...an excellent programmed UAC format, was well received, caught on with a diverse demo then suddenly sold.
