count down to cozi

Which market are you in? Hartford/New Haven has had CoziTV since the December soft launch (via WVIT-TV 30-2 of New Britain/Hartford).

I'm in the Boston market. I see plum is still airing on ch. 20. Looking at the cozi site they have a decent lineup of old shows and movies on the weekends.

Just flipped WMFP on (4:15p), and yes they have the "Countdown to Cozi". I am looking forward to this - they have "Banacek" and "Marcus Welby M.D." - two of my favorites on the old RTV. The Plum listings are still on Comcast, however.

Update - Plum programming is back on as of 4:30p. Could Cozi be going on 62.2 in place of RTV/Retro?

lets not get too excited when they had a real retro network metv they murdered the lineup with paid programming. if this is true how long since metv moved to ch 5? i guess its all about the money.

If COZI is looking to get into the Boston DMA , WMFP may be there only option. When ME-TV was on WMFP , it was because ME-TV was looking to get into Boston DMA and it was a short term fix until WCVB(Hearst) cane into the picture. Who know wher it will go. I don't watch PLUM , so 62.1 would be a good option , we shall see.

i haven't seen news on their sight or online so who knows it came out out of no where i hope it happens i would love to see the bionic women and six million dollar man again. haven't watched that since it was on scifi.

looks like its on just aired the lone ranger. lets see how long this lasts!!

"Alias Smith and Jones" is on right now. I checked around 5am, and Plum was still on at that time. Switchover must have happened around 6 or 7.

Sorry but I don't follow what's happening here - has Plum TV been replaced by Cozi on 62 (.1 or .2)?

It's on 62.1 - channel 20 on most Comcast systems. That's why networks are willing to put up with the paid programming - they're getting put on the main channel with a good placement on the major cable system.

Do you mean that right now on WMFP 62.1 programs from Cozi are airing rather than Plum TV, and on 62.2 the RTV programs are airing. If thats it, than Plum TV is no longer on in the Boston market (or you could say they have dried up like a Prune - pun intended).

You would be correct.

seems like wmfp said so long plum and hello to cozi!!

I still don't know why WMFP is reluctant to move RTV back to 62.1 - the network has improved it's look, even if it still has eclectic programming. But then look how they've handled the station - the interference problems for months, picking up PLUM which is the most inane choice for programming in this market, etc.

Doesn't mater anyway - come spectrum auction time, this station will go dark.
