Countdown shows to battle for New Year's Eve viewers

Robert Feder is reporting that it is not to early to start planning your tv viewing plans for New Year's Eve, here is his report https://www.robertfeder.com/2018/12/19/robservations-countdown-shows-battle-new-years-eve-viewers/ , it is the main story of his Robservations today. Of course the two tv stations that will be batting each other are WLS TV and NBC. As no big surprise Mark Giangreco and Janet Davies will be riding in their 18th New Year's Eve together, and joining them on the broadcast will be ringing in the new year are Terrell Brown, Cheryl Scott, Liz Nagy, Val Warner and Ryan Chiaverini as they will be at different venues around the city and suburbs, where exactly will not be known until the broadcast. NBC has their teams announced to in the report, Marion Brooks, Siafa Lewis and Chris Hush will host New Year's Eve Live in Chicago, and joining them will be Christopher “Fred” Frederick of Kiss FM, Ally Sturm of Big 10 Network and Ji Suk Yi from “The Grid” at the Sun-Times. And they will have musical performances by Nick Gehlfuss of “Chicago Med” and Joe Minoso of “Chicago Fire.” It will be interesting to see who will win out with the most ratings, but my best guess would be WLS TV, as they seem to win them.
