Countdown to Mingo?

How many days will it be before Mingo shows up in the morning slot on Groove 99 in Bako? It's the only company who hasn't fired him yet.

Second question: Once there...how many months before he gets the ax yet again?
 
Attention Shrimpradio:

1. I quit AGM...I wasn't fired.
2. Clear Channel clearly made a mistake in their choice of format flip.
3. KBDS is so poorly programmed, they did me a favor.

Hey Shrimp...Why do you always come on this board to dog people, more specifically me. Are you jealous of the success I have had in this market? At any rate, your attention is very flattering! I hope you don't work in radio because as much time as you spend on this board posting your CC loving, ingnorant comments, your station(s) is probably already in the tank. I'm normally a very congenial guy, but you seem to have a grudge or misconecption of some kind. You should really seek professional help. I'm not sure if I actually know you or not (because you don't post your real name), but if I do, I'm sorry you dislike me so much; and if I don't you should really get to know me first. Now, I don't like you and there aren't many people I don't like, so either you're one of them, or are you just scared?

Just for your information, if I got the chance to work for Steve, Jay Love, and Buckley Radio, I'd be priviledged. I have a couple of friends who already work there and I hear only great things about the company. So Shrimp, stay tuned, if I land in this market, I'm sure you'll be listening. Thanks for the love!!

Mingo - good for you. There's a lot of people who do nothing but trash others. Best of luck to you landing on your feet and being successful.

It annoys me when people trash stations or people - but also never say how they would do things different...

All I can say is MINGO WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD.... Hence the hostility Buffalo shrimp has towards you and the people who have either took his job, never looked at his or her resume much less cared about his ideas of radio.. I have two words for you BUFFALO SHRIMP GUY... Grow UP!!!!!!!!!!

If Mingo were to come aboard Groove 99.3's team IM sure he will supercede what hes done now and maintain his loyal listeners plus gain a whole new demo that he may or may not have ever tapped. So if Mingo wanted to get back into radio I would love to work side by side with Mingo again. Having done mornings with Mingo many years ago I have learned that Mingo has charactor, drive, motivation and he is a great jock that the Bakersfield market admires.... Good Luck with what ever you do.... Oh yeah... WHAT JOCKS DO YOU KNOW THAT WOULD COME OUT OF THEIR POCKET AND BBQ FOR THEIR LISTENERS AT A PUBLIC PARK AND HANG WITH THEM ALL DAY? NObody I know accept Mingo and I... I would do it again anyday anytime... Thats what radio is about connecting with your listeners....

So Buffalo Shrimp guy before you start you bashing again or blowing smoke up your own ass where this or that person is going or doing. Think about this... YOU WILL BE THERE TO. May not be today or tomorrow but you will be out of a gig someday and those you criticize now may be the one that may look at your resume or listen to your aircheck and say F U!!!!!!!!!!! Think before you speak.... Nothing good to say dont say it at all.
