Golden West's COUNTRY 107.7 (CJXR) in Steinbach, Manitoba was officially launched this morning. The new station operates with 30,000 watts and becomes a sister to Golden West's existing properties in Steinbach MIX 96.7 (CILT) and AM 1250 (CHSM). Steinbach is located about 30 miles southeast of Winnipeg meaning that CJXR could be considered a rimshot for the market.
