Country 1310

Anybody know if Country 1310 is a satellite simulcast or actual in studio jocks...it has a great lineup of music and talented jocks.Thought that was odd for an AM station. ANY THOUGHTS ANYBODY???

The music lineup is good, but thier signal is terrible. The Northern NJ area could use a country station...even if it's "piped in" satellite on a strong FM signal....94.7????

That's what I'm talkin about!! The 94.7 frequency would be perfect for a country format because it's signal is strongest in the area(s) where country would do the best...Essex, Passaic, Bergen, Morris, Somerset, and Union counties. Plus, the signal is a monster, covering well into Western NJ (Hunterdon), Central NJ (Middlesex and Monmouth), Staten Island, Rockland, Westchester, and even the 5 boroughs and Nassau Co. on Long Island. 94.7's signal may be a little spotty in Manhattan due to the high rise buildings and signal interference, but that area would not be nearly as lucrative as the other areas (especially in NJ) for a country format. Bring on the new 94-7 The Bear...Today's Country!!

It's nice to dream...but if Family ever sold 94.7, someone would come along, figure out a way to shoehorn the signal onto Empire, and program a female oriented rhythm based format targeting 25-54 year olds!!!!!

All kidding aside, the only way they'll sell 94.7 is for a 50kW AM and ten$ of million$.

I think that that is a stellite feed.On the websites for the jocks they dont mention a station specifically just general banter
