He doesn't stand a chance. There are so many artists who are WORKING for country airplay that this guy isn't even on the radar.
Country radio stations don't listen to the universe of music and think, "Gee this would make a nice country song. Let's play it and see what happens." That's absolutely not how it works.

There's WAY too much rock/pop on "country" radio as it is.
