Country fans, can you accept THIS on NASH?

Hell. No. Too dancy, even for today's pop country, and I imagine it would turn off a great deal of country listeners.
I don't accept Kid Rock, Sheryl Crow on Nash right now. Kid Rock is the white trash anthem. Sheryl Crow is pop/folk.

Sheryl Crow has "easy" which is the #19 song on this weeks billboard top 40 country airplay chart.
Kid Rocks "picture" and "all summer long" both got NASH airplay cause they were chart hits too.
It would be dumb not to play them since thats what makes NASH great they play "All The Hits"....theyre like a country Z100. ;D
As far as the OPs song i have never heard NASH yet play a song that hasnt charted on above mentioned chart.
If the song eventually does chart & become a hit they will play it for reason mentioned above.

Playing new music or a new artist on a radio station is a scary thing. One bad song, and the audience goes away. That costs money.
That's why radio stations, especially country stations, take time building artist and song familiarity. Neither this song nor this artist has done that. It just falls from the sky, without any context for the listeners to like either him or the song.
People have context for Sheryl and Kid. They know their background. Both artists have devoted their time and attention to appealing to the country audience. This guy hasn't. He goes to the back of the line, with all the other wanna be's who might want airplay. And I could post you a dozen videos by people who are actually taking the time to appeal to the country audience, and still aren't getting airplay yet.

Country radio stations don't listen to the universe of music and think, "Gee this would make a nice country song. Let's play it and see what happens." That's absolutely not how it works.

It's a nice little dancey "folk/pop" "Dexy's Midnight Runners" type of tune...
Country radio only plays songs from artist who are mostly/all true country. No crossovers.
Lady Gaga's "You and I" sounded more country than this Avicii tune, and they never touched that.

Kelly Clarksons #34 on the billboard country airplay top 40 chart this week + shes had 2 #1 country duets "dont you wanna stay" & 'because of you".
Taylor Swifts had a bunch of billboard mainstream top 40 hits including "i knew you were trouble" #1 7 weeks & "we are never ever getting back together" #2 4 weeks + "everything has changed" is #27 this week.

Kelly broke through singing duets with Reba and Jason. Same with Sheryl Crow. Both of them live in Nashville, and are working their songs to country radio. This guy is living in Sweden, and doesn't care.
