Country fans, can you accept THIS on NASH?

I HEAR THIS SONG ON Q104.3HD2 WHY

Something that folks are going to have to get used to. In certain cases EDM has become "alternative" to today's youth. Dubstep, I thought, was a perfect fit on modern rock/alternative stations though that genre seems to be fading. It seems to be the reality now.

Does anyone happen to know how Nash-FM doing in the women 35-44 and adults 25-54 demos? Have they cracked the top 20 in either of those demos?

25-54 = 17th
18-49 = 17th
18-34 = 18th

When I was at my job, WCZX's "Mix 97.7" is playing "Wake Me Up" by Avicii like the one Tony Santiago posted a link to it. This song is still playing on some Hot AC stations including WPLJ in NYC and on "Mix 97.7" in Poughkeepsie and WCTW's "The Cat" in Catskill and it is still playing in its rotation. But like I said, WRWD and "The Wolf" and "Nash" does not play this song. As for me, I have this song on my iPod.

This guy is obviously aiming at being a crossover artist, because he was booked to play the KROQ Weenie Roast, and the alternative fans are pretty upset on the LA board.

I don't care how you label the song....it's just not very good. Whoever has picked this has a tin ear....like most radio "programmers."

that is crazy and very unfortunate. I hope it's a 1 time only spin. I would be sad to see HOT 97 moving in that direction!

Hot 97 will have a new PD Soon, Maybe it will find it's direction then. this isn't the First Avicii they Spun. They used to Play "Levels" by them too. I believe these were played only during mix shows, Never a "Playlist" Spin.

To me the reason Nash has poor ratings is I expected a country station in NYC to kick azz and nash is so wussified country....its very hard for me to listen for too long...

They are playing the songs that are hits on the billboard country chart.

If the songs you want to hear ever become hits they will then play them too.
