COUNTRY IN CAPE MAY?

I thought there was a radio station broadcasting the country format in Cape May. I would think this is a good area for country music. Does anyone know why and when it was dropped? josh

There are 3 stations receivable with a country format in Cape May. 99.9, 105.9, 107.3. Does it really need a fourth country station?

There actually is 5 Country stations that can be heard in Cape May

94.7 WDSD
99.9 WWFG
105.9 WZKT
107.3 WPUR
107.7 WKHI (weak but listenable on a car radio)

You are thinking of the former "Coast Country" WKOE on 106.7 in North Cape May ...
The format was dropped on April 1, when it became "Fun 106.7" ...

Regular listeners aren't DX'ers ... they listen on the worst possible radios.
If a station doesn't come in on a $ 20 clock radio or boombox, they aren't
going to listen to it. In Cape May County, which is some 30 miles long
from North to South, Cat Country 107.3, 25,000 watts from Atlantic City
may cover most of it. The others are non-players.

Also it looks like WBBO 106.5 puts some signal into Cape May county, at least in the northern part of the county.

106.5 doesn't do well at all past the Great Egg Harbor Bridge (which is the Cape May/Atlantic County line).....The farthest I have gotten 106.5 was to Sea Isle City (Exit 17) and it was mostly static and bleed from 106.7 WFNE.
