country legends 1073/1061

so when did guaranty take back over 106.1 on the northshore? as of yesterday(?) they are playing country legends 1073 on the frequency. anyone know whats going on over there?? also kcil is on 96.7 and 107.5..is soft rock history?

update: country legends 1073/1061

as of this morning the leagal id is 107.3 baker baton rouge/ 106.1 picayune ms
country legends 1061 and 1073...before citadel was suppose to buy this station and when dowdy was giving it back to guaranty i predicted this :)...so what about the sale to citadel..guaranty says they own it..<P ID="signature">______________

The sale is still going to happen, just like Truck is still gonna sell KLRZ to Citadel. But a bitch named Katrina obviously slowed things down.

They had until mid-October to close the sale of both stations as per FCC rules; obviously, they have a little more time now because of the hurricane.

However, Citadel has moved back into their New Orleans studios (which didn't suffer much damage). The "country legends" are just a temporary placeholder until the sale closes and Citadel assumes possession.

I know KCIL got knocked off the air for a few days due to Rita flloding near the transmitter. That and 96.7 get's into the northern parts of Assumption and west St. Mary better than KCIL... I personally am just expecting it to change back soon as last time I heard, they were IDing it occasionally as KBZZ Soft Rock 96.7 at the top of the hour.

If I hear more, will tell more
