I forgot to mention this last week.

There were thunderstorms in the area September 14 so I thought that might be it. After 30 seconds or so the afternoon DJ came on with a station ID and said what song he had just played, but no mention of letting the station go silent. As a matter of fact, if he had known what song he was playing at that time ahead of time, that could have been recorded. A few minutes later I did hear that it was 6:00, but then if they knew that's when the recording would air, it could have also been recorded.

Still really good music.
 
Digital automation systems have pretty accurate and simple time announce systems built into them.
