Country on 91.5 WNYE

New York City's 91.5 WNYE is simulcasting XM's "Highway 16" country music channel until November 15th. Along with Neal's Country format on WTTM 1680 AM Stereo until this Saturday, this gives NJ listeners another place to hear country music on the radio, at least temporarily.

And for those of you who already have XM, the simulcast on 91.5 will actually sound better than XM because WNYE is getting a full-quality audio stream directly from the XM studios, which avoids all the horrible digital compression artifacts of XM's normal satellite audio.

Hell, some of the online streams sound better than the XM tuners...the AAC compression is hard on the "sss" sounds...<P ID="signature">______________
