Is this what's coming? Looks like the highest bidder will get their format on the HD2 channels.
O-Rock went away for a few days, yet word at CBS is that either nobody noticed or nobody cared. It's back but I suspect only temporary.

With that kind of response, or lack thereof, look for CBS to conveniently dump this great format too.

Keep those cards, letters and phone calls coming into the CBS Orlando switchboard.... ;D
 
Honestly I don't understand why they haven't flipped Jamz to country. Maybe that was a dry run to give the format a listen.

I would still give 101.9 jamz a chance and they seem to be sounding good. But yes country would be a smart next move and go after K 92.3. Tampa has two country stations one being CBS and the other Cox so it would be the same if it happened in Orlando.

Which Tampa Bay Cox station is country? Tampa only has country formatted WQYK, which is owned by CBS and WFUS which is owned by Clear Channel.
 
Hello. Cox has no country stations in Tampa. The cbs station is heritage wqyk 99.5 FM. The other one is us 103.5 WFUS which is a CC station that has been doing country since about 2005 or so. CBS actually used to run 2 country stations in Tampa. 92.5 was outlaw country and they played nas car races and things like that.

I realize that, and have known it all along; however, the previous poster said Cox has a country formatted station in Tampa Bay, so I was curious if Cox recently flipped one of its stations to a country format that I may have missed.
 
Come to think of it, outside of K92 here in Orlando, does Cox have any country formatted stations in major markets?
