Country Radio Research Project On-going

OK, someone is doing a country radio perceptual now.

Just got a call from some company looking for 25-54 yo adults who listen to country radio. Caller ID showed "unknown."

I did not take the survey, as I fail the screener, and to lie would be tacky, but I thought it might be interesting to the board.

So, it is Kix... or someone else? Hmmmm...

When I lived in Memphis over ten years ago, Then Star 98 called my house with a similiar survey. I must have listened to a hundred songs. Maybe it is their broadcasting group.

I don't think it's KIX. But then again, every group does perceptual screening like this. I'd lean towards "someone else". Soemone may be seeing if there is even a hole for the format in town. It doesn't mean anyone will flip to Country, although I can think of one or two stations towards the left side of the dial that might do it...

It is not KIX.
