Seems that WTQR has taken a real hit in the PPM's for the GSO market. Entercome scored well with all their stations. So what's the deal with Country in GSO? WPAW seems to have stolen the thunder from WTQR, WIST has switched to Hispanic, and WBRF is playing Classic Country and Bluegrass. I hear that the WTQR's morning show is a one personality show with Angie just being there. CC needs to wake up and smell the roses in this market expecially.

WTQR has been around for too long? How many stations over the years have been gunning for WTQR? I suspect that does take its toll eventually. Death by a thousand cuts.

Not so much that PPM has been unkind to 104, more like the Diary method was kind to them and they got phantom credit for listening because of thier top of mind awareness. That's gone with PPM. It's not like PAW wasn't already beating 104 pretty consistently. Over the last 15 ARB quarterly's PAW beat 104 in adults 25-54 11 times. Of course never by as much as the first PPM monthly showed. The next PPM monthly is delivered on Monday.

I agree with Angie's position in the WTQR morning show. She's just a tiny voice for Roper to use as a sounding board. Imagine taking a personality that won the CMA Personality of the Year award and making them a big nothing. This is another reason WTQR is in deep do-do.
