COURT TV is not on Comcast anymore! What happened?

Over the weekend, I found that Court TV had been replaced by Grit TV. What happened? Did it go out of business again?

No, it didn't go out of business. But it probably changed channels on the dial in the market. It usually means that the local station that carried it either dropped it as an affiliate *OR* decided to change the cable channel to a different digital subchannel source, in this case, Grit.

Court TV is locally carried on WUTF 27.5 and on WUNI 66.4, in which, ironically enough, WUNI and WUTF are sister stations.

But what looks like happened over here is that Court TV used to be on WDPX 58.1 and that the cable provider took WDPX's signal for Court TV. Now, with WDPX broadcasting Grit, Grit takes over on the cable system and Court TV is kicked off, though its still available over-the-air for **FREE** on 27.5 and 66.4 and on the Court TV streaming apps for Roku, Android TV, and wherever else you can find them.

So that's what happened. TL;DR (too long, don't read) - cable used WDPX to carry Court TV but now carries Grit so Grit takes over.
