Court Wars Start Tonight at 9

Bush announces his Supreme Court nominee tonight at 9pm. Depending on who is chosen, prepare for the Summer Court War of Spin! All major radio networks will likely be carrying the announcement, followed by the punditry, and then the raw meat is tossed to political talk radio, which will devour it until fall.

Why wait until 9 P.M. EDT??

I would think that this is already THE topic everywhere on talk radio, from left (Al Franken, et. al.) to right (Rush Limbaugh, et. al.).

And barring an unexpected breaking-news story, this may indeed be the dominant topic on talk radio for some time to come.
