That said, Pat St. John is sounding good, and the music mix tonight is the best I've heard so far on the relaunched CBS-FM.

An AOR jock on an oldies station -- like the Rangers bringing in all those over-the-hill stars past their prime. ;)

"Over the hill" might be a little too harsh to describe this particular lineup. "Seasoned Veterans" might be a better way to describe them. As far as you describing Pat as just an AOR jock, remember he WAS a part of CBS-FM for a stretch of time a couple of years ago, and he sounded just as good as he did last night. Perhaps better? Like all other things, give it time.
