Both Sirius and XM have been advertising heavily in newspapers this week in New York and Chicago, seeking to sign up Oldies fans upset by Infinity's blowing up of WCBS and WJMK. "What do New Yorkers do when their favorite music is taken away? They get Sirius," read a full-page ad in yesterday's New York Times that was addressed "Attention former 101.1 FM listeners."
