Barsky has larngytis (spell?)
So Cousin Ed filled in this morning..
I was so afraid he had been fired...already..

This was the first time I had heard Cousin ED ever...
He sounds great.. He could handle mornings....I am surprised
he doesn't somewhere. He mentioned working in new york before.
Where was that ..do you guys know?

I'm surprised it took half-a-day for someone to mention it on here. Oh wait... No, I'm not. ;)

He worked nights at WDRE, back when it was a network of Alternative stations based on Long Island, NY. He was heard on Philadelphia's 103.9 before it broke off the simulcast with its Long Island sister station.

A short while after that, Long Island's WDRE flipped format and Couzin Ed got a new job doing Y100 nights. He was let go when Jim McGuinn took over Y100 in early 1997.

Is there anyone in Philly (besides myself) who has not worked nights
on Y100? LOL

I have definitely noticed Cousin ed and matt and huggy do more schtick(sp?) on their shows. Even some of the other ysp jocks seemed to be talking more. Just an observation...anyone else agree?
