I noticed the FCC database has coverage maps for FM signals but not for AM, why is this. Radio locator has patterns for both AM and FM signals but I don't know how accurate RL is. How can RL have AM paterns but the real deal FCC doesn't. Is there anywhere I can find an FCC AM signal pattern site..
 
The R-L maps for AM are based on 2.5mV/m for local, instead of FCC standard 5mV/m.....so R-Ls local is actually the distant curve...and distant is actually fringe....keep that in mind with R-L...I have asked them many times to use FCC standards but they wont...
