Coverage of Katrina on the radio waves

For those of us that complained about last storm coverage (as of sunday night)...here we go...

CC's WQUE,WYLD,and the new 104.1 are completely off the air (I beleive q93 has back up faciliaties, but I can hear 104.1 off just the exciter and there's nothing on 104.1)
CC's 99.5,101.1 are relaying from WJBO BR (Where all of the BR CC stations are broadcasting too)

All of Guaranty Houma is linked together (107.5,106.3,96.7,1490)

Coastal's 100.3 is airing swamp pop, with WTIX FM playing oldies

Citadel's stations 92.3,106.7 are apparently airing WGNO (which is relaying WBRZ ch.2 Baton Rouge) (Can't catch 102.9 and 106.1 from my vantage point)

Entercon's WWL-am is being broadcast over 95.7,97.1,105.3,and 101.9

On-top's 104.5 is playing hip-hop as always

WYES TV 12 is off the air also currently..
TV news is supposed to be moved to Baton Rouge stations for WWL-TV and WGNO, Rumored WDSU is headed to Jackson.

WDSH-TV just announced that they are "simulcasting" on 87.7fm. I'm glad to see them mention that you can hear their audio there, but it isn't a simulcast.

WDSU-TV and I figure it's the best way they found the population can understand why they catch them on Fm radio for....

Hell the local media screws up what channel is what (Usually listing them by the cable channel in New Orleans instead of the FCC assigned channel as like WUPL-TV (ch.2 instead of FCC assigned Ch.54)

This is true. Anchorwoman Kriss Fairbairn and the meteorologist (can't think of his name right off) are camped out at WAPT-TV 16. Kriss is on the air right now (11:30 PM) with WAPT anchors Scott Simmons and Joyce Brewer.
