Coverage of Medical Helicopter Crash in Flagstaff

Who is doing the best and worst coverage of the helicopter crash in Flagstaff?

For one, I was disappointed with 12 News at 5:30pm last night (Sunday). Given their presence with 2 News in Flagstaff, I expected a live report with details not found on other stations. At 10, 12 News did manage to have a live report with 2 News anchor Nathan Ryder. Since Flagstaff is getting a simulcast of 12 News on the weekends now, I thought that 12 News did a poor job covering a significant event.

Furthermore, 12 News Today (at 6:30am) buried the helicopter crash as the 5th or 6th story with just a voiceover. I thought sure that they would have a live report this morning.

On the other hand, GMAZ did a terrific job covering the crash this morning with a live shot from Javier Soto. Channel 3 also had better pictures of the immediate crash aftermath than were shown on Channel 12.

Well somthin tells me this crash hits a little more close to home for Channel 3. I also thought 10 did a pretty good job last night with Linda Williams (who I think is the most underused anchor in Phoenix)

Unfortunately, I missed 10's coverage. I do agree that Linda Williams is the most underutilized news anchor in Phoenix. To add some gravitas to their weekday news, she would make a great co-anchor with Troy Hayden at 6 and 10.
