Coverage Questions On West (near Waco) Fertilizer Plant Explosion

Late yesterday (April 17th), a fertilizer plant exploded in the town of West, Texas (a suburb of Waco).

I believe Waco is about 70 miles from Dallas/Fort Worth, and as such, is within the range of several DFW stations like KLIF-570, WBAP-820, and KRLD-1080 (both day and night).

Not being in the area, and having watched coverage on the major cable news channels until I fell asleep at about 2 A.M. EDT, I wonder how these (or other) stations in Dallas/Fort Worth covered the event.

I suspect at least two of the above-named stations did much better coverage than stations in Waco itself.

I didn't get to listen to any local radio overnight at work, just TV and that was only a couple of stations, as I just posted here ( http://radiodiscussions.com/smf/index.php?topic=233112.0 ).

And FYI, West, while in the same county, isn't quite close enough to Waco to really be a suburb....but the way I-35 is getting these days, you never know :D
