WCOW COW 97.1 from La Crosse, Wisconsin came in on the car radio early this afternoon in Johnston, RI a few miles west of Providence. There was a lot of e-skip and tropo going on but this station was strongest. It displayed on the RDS and stayed loud and clear for about 15 minutes. It was my first time catching this station in e-skip.

I've been noticing how the maps have been showing a lot of activity up north.
I'm jealous.
I keep hoping some of it will move more south so we can get in on the action.
It's been a mediocre E Skip season here and there's not much of it left.
Or maybe the best will come last as was the case two years ago on July 23 with that huge opening after a slow season.
