Cowboy Ray passes away

My condolences to the family and friends of Cowboy Ray.

I witnessed a separate hit-and-run incident a year ago, and it still haunts me to this day. As with Cowboy Ray, I don't believe they found the driver. Too bad they didn't get the license plate. Hopefully, Mancow's reward will provide incentive to find the driver.

This should serve as a reminder that there is no room to drag race or drive under the influence; on Archer Avenue or anywhere for that matter! If you are too drunk to drive then call a cab, and if you can't afford it, then you shouldn't be out drinking in the first place. BE RESPONSIBLE! Innocent people get hurt for other people's lack of responsibility!

Things like this really tick me off and I hope that Cowboy Ray is in a better place today, especially after all the suffering he must have endured!<P ID="signature">______________

I just heard the news on CBS 2 about thirty minutes ago. I didn't know a whole lot about Cowboy Ray, but he just seemed like a nice guy. I don't understand sometimes why bad things have to happen to good people. I hope whoever did this is happy for themselves.

Speed Bumps Is The Answere Re: Cowboy Ray passes away

If I were the mayor of Chicago(instead of that dumb stupid Daley),
I would put Speed Bumps on every corner along on Archer Ave.
The only reason, Archer is known for It's only "Dirty Drag Strip"
throughout the whole city of Chicago.

This way, no one won't be able to do anymore drag racing on Archer Ave.
Also, this would prevent any accidents or any pedestrains getting killed!
This should be a lesson for all of us, and what we can learn from our good
friend and buddy Cowboy Ray....

I think the answer is "common sense" NOT to drag race on a city street in the first place. I don't think it is fair to blame Mayor Daley for someone else's irresponsibility to drag race on a city street. City government can only do so much, all in all, people have to take responsibility for what they do.
