Cowboys Radio Net Audio Problems?

For the first hour of tonight's preseason game, KZTK in East Texas was airing audio that was like AM radio quality, even their commercials. The local cut-ins sounded clear as a bell. Just moments ago, the audio cleared up, and it doesn't sound as "stuffy" on the radio.

Was this also how the broadcast went out over the air on KRLD-FM? I wonder.
 
The audio quality sounded great! However, listening to color comentary from Randy White and "Coach Joe" was brutal..
 
Yep, it was a Charlie Waters flashback all evening. I bet the show during commercials would have been killer though.

Could it be KZTK was getting the game from a POTS line coupler, until they got their satellite receiver working.
