But you didn't answer his question. How many shows have you been a part of? Do you think because you aren't talking about Cowhead, he's alright with you insulting Spiceboy?

I have been on exactly zero shows, never claimed to be. So just because I have enjoyed CowHead's shows means I automatically should give Spice a pass? Sorry, I just don't feel that way.

You can say whatever you like about Spiceboy. You can have your opinion. I just asked if you think Cowhead is alright with you insulting Spiceboy just because you aren't insulting him.

Obviously "Gruber", you know nothing about the situations I have been in. Situation #1 Bubba-FCC fines that I had nothing to do with. Situation #2 "Big Boys"-98 Rock tried like hell to bring a guy in and make it like it was....didn't work (among other things I am not at liberty to say). Situation #3-Complaint from a listener that sent a c.d. with 8 tracks of potentially fineable material to CC corporate. None of which involved me saying anything on them. If you don't like me fine. Don't care, YOU don't matter to me. At least get it straight. [EDIT][EDIT-personal attack]

I am not trying to turn this into some internet pissing contest. Sorry I missed the personal attack though (edited before I logged in again). Try not to be such a hypocrite, you criticize people everyday whether it is radio shtick or not. One would think you would have developed tougher skin especially after all the failures you have been a part of – Kudos to you though for keep coming back. Let me know how things work after Sirius goes the way of the Do Do.

Tough skin? Are you joking? If you really think that your comments hurt me in any way you are sadly mistaken. I just see it more as a never was talking about someone who is actually in the business. Failures? Which one? The #1 rated Bubba Show on 98 Rock, or my afternoon drive shift that believe it or not put in pretty good numbers considering how bad the station was hurt by the loss of Bubba. I know I was hitting my bonus. "Big Boys" of which I was unable to have any creative control over what happened on a daily basis and was working with someone that was green to mornings? Oh,wait, you must be talking about the Cowhead Show of which in 3 months we went from the crapper to 2nd place. And yes,Kudos to me for being able to keep a job for so long. They could have let me go,but they chose to keep me involved in the station. I've got somebody bamboozled. Now I am on with Bubba doing afternoons for Stern....failure? Where? I'm not thinking about you,I'm thinking past you. By calling me a failure you are also calling Cowhead a failure. He has been shifted around in this market way more than I have, but he is good at what he does and people recognize that. -Matt Loyd

Hey, I very much enjoyed the CowHead show and was sorry (as many fans were) to see it so short lived for whatever the reason. Again, I am just not a huge fan of yours and I don’t expect you to lose sleep over it. That being said; you are a 100 times better than Brent, at least you have a voice.

Play nice.

Gruber, For a person who has admittedly been on zero shows, it must be easy for you to criticize the work of folks who are professionals in the radio business. Do you think that your armchair quarterback synopsis of local radio shows is going to matter the slightest bit to Cowhead, Matt or Brent? Don't even pretend to know who does, or doesn't have talent until you have earned a loyal following of listeners like they have. If any of those guys has something to say about other people in this business, I'd give their comments some credit because they know the business. If you would shut up and listen to them instead of knocking them, you might just learn that and a few other things. In the meantime... Take notice at how considerate they are of your profession. Have they ever gone to your place of business, and crticized the way you handle the Mc Nuggets?

How chivalrous for you to stand up for them. Spice can handle himself; after all he is a “Big Boy”. I never once criticized CowHead. DJs rip on people constantly whether it is radio shtick or not. Sorry if you disagree with my OPINION. I guess only DJs are allowed to criticize. Oh and by the way, I posted I never had my own show not that I was not in the business. So keep making assumptions.

"Big Boy"......nice! Like I came up with that one. Like I said before, I had no creative control in that "experiment". Reguardless I do appreciate a fellow broadcaster actually speaking up and "sticking up" for me no matter how "chivalrous" you feel it is. I understand you don't like me. I get it! Point taken, case closed. If everyone liked me I wouldn't be doing my job right. I take criticism daily and believe me when I say I have been hated on by waayyy better than you. It's one thing to take it from someone actually in the business and taking it from someone like you. You criticize something that you have never been a part of. Unless you have a subscription to Sirius (which you probably do) you don't have to hear me ever again. I'm sure that makes you extremely happy, but at the end of the day you are probably a mark for the show.-Matt Loyd
