COX adds WGN America

Was doing my laundry at my parent's house in Southington today. While watching TV and flipping through the stations I find that they have added WGN America to their line-up on DIGITAL CHANNEL 82. WGN America has great programming including: Matlock, In The Heat of the Night, Bewitched/I Dream of Jeannie, Cheers, Becker, and on the weekend Newhart. Other programming highlights included select Chicago-sports telecasts, movies, a new WWE Show on Thursdays, and Bob & Tom. TWO Great 80s movies will be airing this week. Wednesday night at 8PM is Pee-Wee's Big Adventure and Saturday Night at 8PM is Police Academy.

Now if only COMCAST will add this as part of their Digital Basic Package I'll be happy.

Which I believe was posted on AVS Forums is NOT coming to COX....

I wish they would finally add the Weather Channel HD. I keep waiting for that one to come!

Maybe you'll just have to do laundry more often!
 
When I was going to school in Orlando, Florida, I enjoyed watching WGN America and since I came back to Springfield, Massachusetts, it's not available on the lineup here. I did contacted Comcast tonight regarding the situation and they told me:

"Hi Mike I just checked out bulletin for this issue of yours. Channel line up varies per market , we want to have that in MA but the we still negotiating with the channel owner for the contract.Soon it will be in MA, we will just notate you if it is."
