Cox Enterprises has not officially closed on the two TV station as of this date.

Looking at the www.actionnewsjax.com website, it appears Cox has taken both stations over. Any changes in news reporting, graphics, etc? Cox is usually pretty aggressive in covering "doom & gloom" stories. Any changes?

they may not be obvious to most but if you pay attention they are a little harder on the news now..They changed their Slogan to "Coverage you can Count on"

CYCCO is a typical Cox slogan, and hard news is a hallmark as well. Barring a helicopter, guess the last thing to overhaul would be the weather department. Cox weather also excels is severe,"doom & gloom, holy crap go buy milk" forecasting.

I'm waiting on that..there are no helicopters used in the Jacksonville area by media. Im sure they may revamp a whole lot of things including getting a new studio.
