Cox cable and channel 8.2

Does anyone know why Cox doesn't put 8.2 on the cable lineup. I know it may be silly, but I would like to watch some of the old shows offered by that channel. I have called Cox, but have not received a response. I have tried to get the station with an antenna, no luck. Does anyone know of a more powerful antenna to try and pull the signal into Rocky River

Digital converter box with digital antenna...you can find at radio shack or best buy...Time to drop Cox...Seems everyone miispells the cable company's name with an "X" all the time.LOL!

What box and/or attenna would you recommend to get for over the air Jim?

if your tv is digital already chalupa...I purchased a portable indoor digital antenna from B.B that works very well. It looks like 2 diamonds lying flat attached to a revolving cylinder. Priced around 69.00.. It was for my parents bedroom tv.. Just talk to one of the children who work there to help you make a choice. As far as the converter box goes. I saw them at Best Buy at G.N Mall in the tv area on a bottom shelf.. I think the box is a standard model. Yes 8.2 shows are alot better than Metv...My parents tv is digital by the way.

Getting 8.2 anywhere in the COX area is a cinch with an indoor antenna. If you have a newer TV all you need is an antenna. If your TV is an older tube set than a "CECB" converter box will get the channel.

Once you get OTA TV you may see enough content to cut the cable. Besides Antenna TV there is He TV, This TV, Bounce, and Livingwell. Almost forgot WKYC's weather radar too.
