COX Cable losing WPRI signal lately

The past couple of nights I've had on the 11 PM News and I keep getting an occasional signal loss. So my TV just throws up the dreaded blue screen. I change channels and every other Providence station is fine. This happens about every 20 seconds on Channel 12 and then it comes back on again. I haven't touched any of my equipment. I also haven't tried my other TV that has an over the air antenna attached. So I don't know if the same thing would happen or not. I just know that the signal loss has been happening on my TV that is attached to COX.

On SD, or HD?

If it SD, are you seeing it with a cable box or directly into the TV?

It's HD. No cable Box.

So you're using your TV set's QAM tuner? (You have the cable hooked to your set, watching "12.1" via Cox cable and your TV's HD tuner)

Cox is still passing Clear QAM?

Sounds like either an issue with your set or an issue with Cox, although we haven't received any other calls on it.

Yes my TV's QAM tuner. Cable hooked directly to set. watching 12.1 via Cox cable on my TV's HD tuner. Right you are sir. I have it on CBS Morning News right now and everything seems fine. Was probably just a temporary glitch somewhere. Yes Cox is definitely still passing clear QAM. Not a cable box to be seen in this house.
