What was KXLY Extra! on 14?

And, was Video Pages on 27 a bulletin board, or something else?

-crainbebo

KXLY Extra! was a cable offshoot of KXLY-TV that didn't last very long (it premiered in the spring of 1994 and ended on New Year's Eve, 1996). I believe it was also carried in Coeur d'Alene on channel 3. Programming included television simulcasts of KXLY (AM) 920 talk shows--much to the chagrin of the radio hosts--as well as syndicated fare, like Perfect Strangers, The Golden Girls, Star Trek and even one-hour versions of Mystery Science Theater 3000 episodes. The channel also carried repeats of KXLY-TV's news broadcasts, and news blocks from All News Channel during overnight hours. I think the channel was a result of the Cable Act of 1992.

Video Pages was essentially a television classifieds. I remember it including real estate listings and a "most wanted" fugitives block.
