Cox is doing something right (for once) with The Zone

It and 103.7 are my most listened to stations. They seem to interact well through the social media to create a station that listeners want to hear. When I tuned in the first day, I was thinking with the 80's and that classic Cox formula :p its not The Zone...it's The Zoint. It was strangely great of them to fix that. And they seemed to move fairly quick on adding personalities. The same approach is needed for Country Legends and the other 2 stations would benefit by using The Zone's template of listening to the listener.

Just one listeners opinion :)

I agree with the direction of The Zone. Wish I could pick it up in the League City area without the freaking dropouts! Cox does need to tweak their other stations. The Eagle needs to invest in more 80s rock, not the same Journey and Def Leppard but stuff like Queensryche, Triumph and Judas Priest...go towards a harder edge rock format. That would be a nice blow to the boring Aarow. As for 93Q, I'd love for it to be a bit more country or you might as well flip it back to a top 40 format, because it sounds like a pop station that leans more on pop sounding country with a morning show that's more prone to talk about Lady Gaga than Lady Antebellum.
