COX MERIDEN

Because that is the agreement we entered into with them.

Thank you for your concern.

As long as WSAH shows continuous infomercials does anyone care if this station is carried at all? We get them on Directv all the way in NJ. What a waste of bandwidth. I deleted the station from my guide.

What you want has very little bearing on reality. You are welcome to petition the Federal Communications Commission for a market modification. However, you don't have standing, so you won't get very far.

I think you missed my point. I would love to watch WSAH, if there was actual programming. How about RTN or ThisTV? Neither of those networks are available in the NYC DMA. As long as infomericals are on all day I will never tune in.

WSAH is owned by Multicultural Television Broadcasting. Like their radio division the stations makes its money leasing out time to different groups - hence the announcement at the top and bottom of the hour (Not Quoting them at all, but it's something along the lines of this) "Buy Time on WSAH TV 43 to Promote Your Product or service. Call 212-966-1059."

I understand why COX Cable in Meriden has to carry WSAH channel 43, but I would like to know why it's on both Digital Channel 73 and Digital Channel 75.

If that's so, then why doesn't every other station in the market have two cable slots on the system? Kind of silly, don't you think?
